Gunna: Drip Season 4 (January 7th)

Gunna is back with the 4th and final installment of the Drip Season album series, Drip Season 4. The YSL rapper’s last release, WUNNA was in 2020, so fans were ecstatic upon his announcement of the new project. It will feature Drake, Young Thug, Future, Chloe Bailey, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Roddy Ricch, G Herbo, and more! 

Cordae: From a Birds Eye View (January 14th) 

Cordae has emerged as one of the top lyricists in the rap game. After starting off as a member of the YBN collective with Nahmir and Almighty Jay, he took his own path as a solo artist and showed the world what he was capable of on The Lost Boy (2019).  After 3 years, he’s back with another full-length project.

Earl Sweatshirt: Sick! (January 14th)

Earl Sweatshirt has been under the radar for a couple years now, his last release Feet of Clay was in 2019. He will be returning this month with a new album called Sick! OG Odd Future fans should be excited to hear what the Los Angeles rapper is returning with.

2 Chainz: DOPE DON’T SELL ITSELF (January)

2 Chainz has been very consistent in the past few years, with Rap or go to the League (2019), So Help Me God (2020), and GOATED: 2 Chainz (2021). Recently, he announced via Instagram that he will be dropping a new album, DOPE DON’T SELL ITSELF in January.

Phife Dawg: Forever (March 22nd)

Phife Dawg tragically died at age 45 in early 2016, due to “complications from diabetes”, according to his family. The Tribe Called Quest legendary MC was reportedly working on music before he passed, which will be released in March as a posthumous album called Forever.

Kendrick Lamar: TBA

Fans of K-Dot have been waiting patiently to get a new album from the Compton MC for almost 5 years. During his hiatus, he has since signed Baby Keem, and started his abstract record label pgLang. Will 2022 be the year we get another classic?
