Billie Eilish and Finneas Perform Live Acoustic Version of “Your Power”

On Sunday, July 18th, Vevo posted a live acoustic performance by Billie Eilish and Finneas of Eilish’s song “Your Power” on their YouTube channel. The performance by the siblings is a stripped-down version of the original recording of “Your Power” as Eilish sings softly, and Finneas plays acoustic guitar and accompanies vocally. Both are sitting on stools wearing soft gold clothing that matches the curtains lining the walls of the room.

In the description for the live performance, Vevo described Eilish saying “Billie Eilish’s trademark whisper has gained more and more emotional power in the last four years. The secret-sharing sense of intimacy contained in the pop phenom’s voice brims with the kind of textural qualities that pull fans deep into the story she’s telling in any given song. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes fierce, always fetching.”

The description continues to describe the performance saying “Flanked by her brother Finneas on acoustic guitar, she blends that rich coo into an eloquent indictment of those who ‘take advantage’ of others. The visual setting, designed after brainstorming creative sessions between the singer and our production team, is simple but rich in texture, too – just like Billie’s voice.”

“Your Power” was released on April 29th of this year by Eilish and will appear on her upcoming sophomore album Happier Than Ever which is to be released next week on July 30th. The single’s release was accompanied by an official music video, which shows Eilish in striking desert and mountain scenes and slowly being constricted by a snake.
