Miley Cyrus Releases Music Video for “Angels Like You”

On Monday, March 8th, Miley Cyrus released a music video for her song “Angels Like You.” The video was shot at Cyrus’ performance during the pregame for Super Bowl LV in Tampa, Florida, a month ago. The video was directed by Cyrus, and Alana O’Herlihy.

The audience for this performance was fully vaccinated and masked healthcare workers. Miley Cyrus’ performance for this event was one of the first with this size of audience since the COVID-19 pandemic started early last year. Miley is seen wearing a bedazzled #25 football jersey in black and pink while performing in the video.

At the end of the video, a note written by Cyrus appears saying “On February 7th 2021 nearly a year after the world shut down because of COVID-19, this video was shot at the first concert of its size since the pandemic changed our lives. The audience here is fully vaccinated health care workers who have been fearlessly and tirelessly fighting COVID-19.

We all look forward to being together again and this can happen sooner than we may have thought with vaccines becoming more available. Each of us can help stop the pandemic by being vaccinated. Together we can make the experience of live music a reality again. Forever yours – Miley.”

“Angels Like You” is off of Miley Cyrus’ most recent album Plastic Hearts which was released last November.
