Bryson Tiller finally announced the release date for his new album, Anniversary. In a tweet posted on Monday, the Louisville rap singer tweeted: “real fans know the countdown started months ago. Anniversary 10/2.”
Tiller made his debut with Trapsoul five years ago, following it with his sophomore True to Self after two years. His second studio album was met with mixed reviews by critics and fans alike, with Tiller himself admitting to Billboard that True To Self wasn’t his best work.

In the recent weeks, Tiller had released two singles, ‘Inhale’ and ‘Always Forever’, even releasing a video for ‘Inhale’, marking his return to the spotlight and amping up the hype for Anniversary.
Tiller kept busy with the promotions following that, releasing the deluxe version of his debut album Trapsoul alongside the video for one of the biggest hits of the album, “Right My Wrongs”.
Timing is also important for the drop of Tiller’s third studio album Anniversary, which happens to be October 2nd, fifth year anniversary of Trapsoul’s original release.
