Billie Eilish and Finneas Perform “No Time To Die” on The Tonight Show

Monday, October 5, Billie Eilish and Finneas performed “No Time To Die,” their James Bond theme to celebrate James Bond Day on The Tonight Show.

The performance is stunning and simply beautiful. Dramatically shot in black and white and what seems to be a music hall as the performance setting. Finneas plays the piano as an accompaniment to Billie’s haunting, whisper-like vocals

Eilish and Finneas spoke to Jimmy Fallon on the show about the song, and its start. “For many years, we’ve wanted to write a Bond song. Not even like we thought we could, it was just more like a fantasy — like a complete fantasy,” Eilish said.

The performance comes along with the announcement that the final Daniel Craig staring 007 film will be postponed until April 21, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the closing of movie theaters.

The song “No Time To Die,” was dropped in February, making Billie Eilish, at 18 years old, the youngest person to write a Bond theme. A video for the movie’s theme was released last week on October 1st which features footage from the film.

“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock,” Eilish said in a statement.
