Imagine Dragons Release Music Video for “Follow You”

On Tuesday, March 16th Imagine Dragons premiered a music video for their recently released song “Follow You.” The video features actor Rob McElhenney, and actress Kaitlin Olson from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Matt Eastin directed the music video, which was filmed inside The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas.

In the video, Olson surprises McElhenney with a private concert from his favorite band. McElhenney’s favorite band is the Killers, but the private concert is by Imagine Dragons, Olson’s favorite band. Imagine Dragons performed “Follow You” for the two individuals, and during it, Olson dreams of being seduced by the band members who are shirtless.

“Follow You” was released last week by Imagine Dragons, along with another track “Cutthroat.” Both songs are to be included on the band’s yet-to-be-named upcoming album. The band’s frontman, Dan Reynolds posted about the new songs saying “‘Follow You’ is a song about loyalty and love. Loving someone is an incredibly imperfect process. It isn’t always romantic or pretty.” He continued saying “‘Cutthroat’ is on the opposite side of the record, both sonically and thematically. It’s an exorcism of self pity.”
