On Saturday, January 31st, a teaser for a Wayne’s World Uber Eats Super Bowl commercial was released. The teaser was called “Wayne’s World – Wayne and Garth are Back.”
It shows Mike Myers and Dana Carvey back in their iconic Wayne’s World characters sitting in Wayne’s mom’s Aurora, Illinois basement from the movies. Both stars are wearing ripped jeans, Wayne in a black t-shirt and baseball hat, and Garth in an Alice Cooper t-shirt, flannel, and rocking his blonde hair.
In the 37 second commercial teaser, Wayne says “And we’re back. 2020 man, that was a great year…” as Garth joins in for one of their usual “NOT!”s. Wayne adds “We just wanted to say that we’ll see you soon for the game, which for legal reasons cannot be named.” Garth continues “We’ll see you on the Big Bowl.” “The gigantic bowl,” Wayne finishes.
In addition to the commercial, Uber Eats also released a teaser song video, which shows 6 seconds of Wayne and Garth rocking out to their iconic Wayne’s World song.
Super Bowl LV is between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs and is happening this Sunday, February 7th.
