2021 Grammy’s Nominees Are Announced

The 63rd annual Grammy nominations were announced this Tuesday, November 24th.

The awards ceremony, which recognizes the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, will take place in Staples Center on January 31st, 2021.

Just a couple hours before the nominees of this year’s Grammy’s were announced, it was reported that Trevor Noah would be the host of this year’s show.

Almost immediately after the nominees were announced, music fans took to social media to address their concerns about the nominations. The most popular of these concerns were about The Weeknd not getting any nominations this year, even though his hit single Blinding Lights spent more than 40 weeks in the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100.

Nominees include Megan Thee Stallion (“Savage” Remix), Jhene Aiko (Chilumbo), Beyoncé (“Black Parade”), Anderson .Paak. (“Lockdown”) & much more.

While the Weeknd was snubbed of any nominations, the Grammys nominated Pop Smoke for his single “Dior” & Nipsey Hussle got nominated with Big Sean on “Deep Reverence”.

Another artist to speak on being snubbed was Lil Baby who went on to claim “#MyTurnAlbumOfTheYear” & that “Whoever making the decisions at the Grammys ‘You all disconnected like a mf’”
